About Me
Filmaking at first wasn't the career I wanted to go down. Prior to education I have always loved Art and creative mediums. It wasn't until I took film studies and photography at A level- that I discovered the passion I had for the industry and for camerawork. From there I was able to realise what I wanted to pursue as a career. I really thank my A level teachers for making film so engaging to learn about.
Now, I study at 'The Northern School of Art' in Hartlepool. During this time I have experimented with different roles; eventually finding out my passion for colouring and cinematography. During this time I have helped create adverts, short films, a tv pilot and helped external clients to create pieces of work. And although there was issues during these productions; they have allowed me to grow in profession and as an individual.
My latest roles include being the colourist for a short horror film ' The Beast of Bolam Lake', camera operator and Co- Director of Photography on a abstract fantasy film 'Feel', colourist on two comedy thrillers ' Thirst for Love', and 'Tender.'.
I am excited to really push my work with these films and produce something to the highest standard.
Outside of eduction, Film has let me connect with relatives I have never spoken to in Toronto, Canada. As I expand the credits for my CV I hope to move there as it has a bigger film industry than here in the UK. I hope to become a colourist in this industry.
